Our agriculture department just received a plasma cutting machine thanks to funding from a recent grant. The agriculture shop students, especially those wanting to enter a career of metal fabrication and/or welding, will greatly benefit. They will get to learn how to draw projects, program the machine, and learn the intricacies of how to operate the machine.

As of this morning, the Pottsboro ISD Administration has been made aware of the December 17th TikTok challenge that specifically refers to a threat to school safety on Friday, December 17th. The post is part of a National TikTok trend and did not originate in our school district. While Pottsboro ISD has not received any credible threats, the safety and well-being of our students and staff is our top priority. We are closely monitoring the situation and will continue to have a police presence in our district. Parents please have a conversation with your children about the serious consequences of even making such threats. If you or your child become aware of any potential threat posted to social media or anywhere else, please notify your child’s campus. As always, thank you for your partnership in helping our district keep our students and staff safe.
