Pottsboro ISD Board of Trustee Elections are conducted in May of each year in accordance with the Texas Secretary of State Uniform General Election Date.

 

Candidates interested in filing an application for a place on the ballot can file their application the 30th day before the filing deadline. The filing deadline for a general election is 5 p.m. on the 78th day before the election day. The deadline to file a declaration of write-in candidacy is 5 p.m. on the 74th day before the election.

Applications can be filed from 7:30 a.m. to 4:00 p.m., Monday through Friday, at the Pottsboro ISD Service Center located at 1401 Katy Lane, Pottsboro, TX  75076. (Phone:  903-771-0083 ext. 1)  On Friday, January 16, 2026, the office hours will be 9:00 a.m. until 11:00 a.m.  Also, on Friday, February 13, 2026 the office hours will be noon (12:00 p.m.) until 5:00 p.m.  The office will be closed on Monday, January 19, 2026 and Monday, February 16, 2026.

 

Pottsboro ISD Board of Trustees consists of seven elected trustees. Each term is three years, and the seating is rotated each year as follows:
