Pottsboro ISD Board of Trustee Elections are conducted in May of each year in accordance with the Texas Secretary of State Uniform General Election Date.

Candidates interested in filing an application for a place on the ballot can file their application the 30th day before the filing deadline. The filing deadline for a general election is 5 p.m. on the 78th day before the election day. The deadline to file a declaration of write-in candidacy is 5 p.m. on the 74th day before the election. Deadlines for the 2022 General Election is below.

The filing dates for the May 7, 2022 election is Wednesday,  January 19, 2022, through Friday, February 18, 2022.


The filing date for the declaration of write-in candidacy is Tuesday, February 22, 2022.

Applications can be filed from 7:30 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. at the Pottsboro ISD Administration Office located at 105 Cardinal Lane, Pottsboro, TX  75076. (Phone:  903-771-0083 ext. 1)
