In 2020 and 2021, Congress passed three stimulus bills that provided nearly $190.5 billion to the Elementary and Secondary Emergency Education Relief (ESSER) Fund. The American Rescue Plan Act, passed on March 11, 2021, provided $122.7 billion in supplemental ESSER funding, known as the ESSER III fund. The purpose of ESSER funds, in general, is to award money to local educational agencies to address the impact that COVID-19 has had, and continues to have, on elementary and secondary schools. Pottsboro ISD will be completing an application to receive $1,402,045 in ESSER III funds.
This survey is a means to engage in meaningful consultation with you, our stakeholders, to provide input in the development of our plan to use these funds. Please submit any feedback via our Stakeholder Engagement Survey by June 14, 2021, to be reviewed for inclusion into the Pottsboro ISD’s ESSER III application.
